An enjoyable pet store experience. They have a good selection of terrarium equipment.
I love going here for my pets needs. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. The live feed menu is great. There is also a frozen feed menu to pick from. I have gotten a snake and two guinea pigs and always love visiting the new guinea pigs on display. It's a discipline challenge not to bring home more guinea pigs,they are all so cute. One thing that I really appreciate is that this store doesn't sell live animals to suspected animal abuse persons. I went to them on a situation and they handled it with the utmost respect and protection for the animal involved. When calling for updates if the person I worked with was there I got an update on the lil baby I was calling about. For that I am grateful and recommend this place to anyone looking to adopt pets. Great variety of selections and great ppl to work with in your pet journey
We adopted their chameleon Crayola. Well it's been nothing but issues not with Crayola but with the equipment. The price we paid included all WORKING equipment. Well the mister the most important thing doesn't work. When we got her there was no information on her given. It's been a find out as you go experience. Like they also eat live plants thank God the plants we got weren't poisonous to her because the employees were no help whatsoever. We asked what else we needed in the cage asked for them to help pick the stuff out since we had no clue what to get as this was our first chameleon. They could have cared less. We later found out after contacting about the mister they can't replace or won't replace that we are her 3 rd home and now I can see why she has been returned so much. Equipment that doesn't work no help from the employees that this is probably their first job and have no idea either . I specifically asked for help picking all the stuff that was included in the setup well she just walked away and never came back. We spent $200 for the cage setup but spent almost $300 more on all the stuff not included . On top of the animal being sicklydue to not having the right equipment . I'm glad we RESCUED her but am super upset that what was supposed to be given in the cost either wasn't working or wasn't even with the equipment
To the folks complaining about this location. Especially when it comes to the fish. Did you ever think about taking your water and getting it tested first? They do free testing at the location. It's very irritating reading the reviews on here especially when the folks don't do the research first let alone find out whether or not their water quality meets the requirements for the fish you're purchasing. Not every fish and not every tank is the same. Some of the ignorant comments are on call for. The owner and her employees work so hard to maintain these precious animals. So before you come into the store to purchase anything you may want to educate yourself and what you're getting. And if you don't know they are more than willing to help you and answer any questions you may have. And if they don't know the answer they can always and will always direct you to your appropriate source of information required for what you need. I hope this helps people before they go into their location and give bad reviews without knowing anything. I want to take the time to thank everyone at the store you've been great to me and my children. No one's perfect but at least you folks take the time to help us.
One of the few stores in the mall. Went for the first time today for vampire crabs, ladies working were friendly and helpful. They have lots of unique things you can’t find at the “big” stores. Sad that I apparently missed seeing the fish section! Next time.
Really great place that takes excellent care of their animals, as my new puppy Mochi can testify to. Their adoption program is fantastic, and reflects the care they take of the animals in their charge. The store was clean, well stocked, and well organized.

I normally don’t write reviews but this is for everyone to know how the owner really is. Worst place to shop! They are very helpful when you are buying but when something doesn’t work and you want to return, every excuse in the book is used to not take it back. I bought the Economy Ultimate GravelVac at $60-$70. Last time i checked , for you to know whether something works or not you have to try it. I came in the morning and not once did the OWNER mention that if it was used I couldn’t return it. She said to try to find a sink adapter at home depot , Lowes, or Ace. So I was very cooperative and did just that. I even went to Fagers and they didn’t have no clue how to make it work. I tried everything I could in order for it to work and all i ended up accomplishing was getting soaked so i finally gave up after the frustration and decided to return it. I have a huge tank so I was hoping this would work because its a pain removing the water with buckets. I go to the store to return it since it wasn’t working as much as i tried to make it work. Once i get there, the girl at the counter was new so she went to ask for help. The girl comes out and asks what wrong. So i tell her and she says oh yea i heard about you. First thing i thought was “Umm like ok”. Honestly for me that was disrespectful because the owner had already told her to not accept my return like if she knew it wouldn’t work. But i let it slide and still told her about my frustration. And said she couldn’t do anything because it was used. Which isn’t something logical because how else would you test out a product if it works or not without using it. Also on the receipt it never states that it couldn’t be returned if its used. I literally just opened the box this morning to clean my fish tank and ran into this problem! LAST TIME I WILL BE SHOPPING THERE. if i could leave no stars i would but unfortunately I cant.
